    A little different than expected...but

    We ordered this table for a new house we're building and didn't need to have it for 5 mos, so the 6-8 week delivery was fine with us. That said, it came in less than 2 weeks to my husband's work mail room. It was extremely well packed and taped to a wood pallet. We had to hire a moving company to bring it to the house where we are living to store until we move. We did unbox the table top to make sure that there was no breakage, scratches or damage, which we found none. It is a VERY heavy table top. It had MUCH more veining in the actual stone than was shown on the website. Also, the color of the veins wasn't what I expected with more brown than the gray I was going for. This is not something that is easily returned, so we will keep and live with how it looks. Overall, very heavy duty quality, very sturdy and I'm sure will be a stunning piece when put together and in the new dining room. Homary was very responsive to emails prior to purchase and even offered to keep in their warehouse until we needed. Wish now that I'd taken them up on that!!
